Pleasant shopping atmosphere for food market thanks to VENTAFLEX

38.000 m3 volume flow of hygienically clean air for redesigned shopping area

The “feel-good factor” is provided by VENTAFLEX Classic air ducts

Task

A large supermarket is being taken over by a new operator and brought up to date both conceptually and technically. The focus should be on the “shopping experience”: The more comfortable the customers feel, the longer they stay in the store ... that generates sales! The decisive factor here is to create a constant, pleasant temperature and low odor pollution (e.g. from meat and cheese counters and the new sushi store) in the sales area at all times of the year. To transport the pre-tempered, purified air from the high-performance air handling unit on the roof to the sales floor, a ducting system was required that was large in size and light in weight, met the hygiene requirements, could be adapted to existing structural conditions and – last but not least – was economical to operate. There was only one answer: VENTAFLEX.
