This type of air duct is especially used when great quantities of air have to be transported with an installation height as low as possible – ideal for the installation under the ceiling, when the room height is limited. Additionally the air conduction is significantly more aerodynamic due to the oval cross-section and the smooth surface of the duct and thus more efficient than conventional square air channels.

Because of the modular system the air ducts can be perfectly adapted to the technical conditions and the construction requirements - even where conventional duct systems cannot be installed because of their weight. The VENTAFLEX air ducts have weight saving over a comparable insulated air duct of 70% at same length. This way the weight advantage makes the installation on statically loaded roofs possible – at new constructions, renovations or the installation on historical building structure, e.g. shed roof constructions.

Compared to post- insulated square air ducts the installation time of the pre-insulated VENTAFLEX air ducts is up to 60% faster. With the VENTAFLEX oval clamp air ducts are connected faster and more secure and stay permanently tight – prefabricated components in 2m or 3m length additionally save valuable working time.
